2010 Russia...Children's books...EUROPA

The history of issuance of stamps with the logo EUROPA has more than 50 years. For the first time in 1956 six countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Luxembourg - organized a joint issue of postage stamps with the inscription EUROPA, thereby laid the foundation for the project. In the first editions all stamps depicted the same picture, but later they began to reflect the national features of the countries. Russia has been participating in the program since 1995 year. The theme of 2010 year is "Children's books".
The stamp depicts a boy reading children's books.
